Please note that this video shows you how to download the a sample trail GPS file (.gpx), and load onto older handheld GPS units, such as the Garmin eTrex or GPSmap 60CX units. This needs to be done via a program such as Garmin’s Basecamp (free). Modern handheld GPS units, like the Garmin Oregon or Dakota series, accept the .gpx file natively without the need for the transfer to be done via the Basecamp program – refer to this video.
